Position Title: Corporate Controller (Chief Manager is one level above Senior Manager)

Reports to the Chief Financial Officer, with Leads of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Taxation, and FP&A as the peers. Three people report into the Corporate Controller

Experience: CA with 13-16 years post qualification experience, in similar space/ preferably with some MNC experience

Responsibilities:

  1. To ensure on time and a positive audit opinion with regard to Limited Review/ ICoFR/ Statutory/ Internal Audits; be the point of single contact
  2. Manage IFRS/ IndAS General Ledger (Oracle based); perform reconcilements on a periodic basis with a view to being audit-ready
  3. Analyse/ control inventory valuation, and get approvals for OSMI/ SLOB inventory
  4. Lead Treasury initiatives: vendor payment processing, import payments, and get forward covers
  5. Actively take part in the month-end closing activities by focusing on reconciled GL balances including banks, inventory, and employee benefits, by the 3rd workday of the month
  6. Mentor and coach team of 3 members: enable them to exceed expectations
  7. Take ownership of regional accounting staff by periodically reviewing their work on F&A compliance and cash-flow optimisation
  8. Coordinate with peers and other functional leaders and the Corporate Office to ensure a quick win
  9. Support the Chief Financial Officer in matters of strategic importance
