Typical responsibilities of the job include:

  • Convening and servicing annual general meetings (AGM)/meetings (producing agendas, taking minutes; conveying decisions etc.)

Prime Responsibility: Reporting to CFO

Responsibility:

  • Oversee and supervise all Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Reporting.
  • Monthly closing of books of account, finalization of financial statement.
  • Knowledge of excise duty ,customs duty, TDS,VAT, CST, Service tax, Entry tax laws and practical application, compliances (discharge of taxes, returns etc..)
  • Manage year end account reconciliations for accountant, monitor yearly insurance renewals and permits and prepare annual reports.
  • Revenue recognition as per accounting standards 
  • Fixed assets management
  • Handling Statutory audits, tax audits and internal audits
  • Handling bank and insurance submissions

  • Managing relationship with franchisees and other business partners
  • Handling reporting of JV partner under US GAAP
  • Providing monthly financial to FP&A team for MIS preparation
  • Exposure of handling tax filings and handling tax assessments

Candidate Requisite:             

  • Chartered Accountant with around 10 years of post qualification experience.
  • Sound knowledge of Accounting standards, revised schedule VI, US GAAP experience preferred.
  • Stay informed the latest amendments in commercial laws, tax structures and other developments in financial world.
    Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight time frames
